Dr. D'Elia

Vero Beach Pediatrics is excited to announce that Dr. Jessica D’Elia, an established and well-respected pediatrician in Indian River County with 15 years of pediatric experience, will be joining our practice on August 1st. Dr. D’Elia is thrilled to continue serving her patients in private practice.

Dr. Jessica D’Elia is a board-certified pediatrician originally from Ohio. She completed her undergraduate training in Biology at Mount Union College and earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine in 2008. After completing her pediatric internship and residency at the University of California San Diego in 2011, she moved to Vero Beach to begin her career caring for children and families on the Treasure Coast.

Since 2011, Dr. D’Elia has served the Indian River County community in private practice at Island Pediatrics, which later transitioned to Nemours Children’s Primary Care. She knew at a young age she wanted to practice medicine, drawn to the way science and human connection come together in the care of children. Dr. D’Elia chose pediatric primary care because she truly enjoys building relationships with families and watching her patients grow. She is passionate about preventive medicine and believes that setting a foundation of good nutrition and active lifestyles early in life can mean a lifetime of health and happiness. She also serves as Teaching Faculty for Florida State University, helping to train the next generation of physicians.

As a mother herself, Dr. D’Elia understands and relates to parents and works hard to help them feel confident as they navigate the challenges and rewards of every age and milestone. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family in the Vero Beach community.
