Growth & Development
Milestones, Bright Futures handouts, and guidance for each stage from newborn through the teen years.
Every child grows and develops at their own pace, and one of the joys of pediatric care is watching that journey unfold. Our growth and development library helps you know what to look for at each stage — from a baby's first steps to a teenager's changing needs.
The collection centers on developmental milestones and the Bright Futures parent and patient handouts, which are organized by visit age from the newborn period all the way through the 18-to-21-year visit. You will also find resources on normal weight and height guidelines, how infants learn, healthy communication with your child, and caring for your child's eyes.
Milestones are general guides, not strict deadlines. Well-child visits are the best time to review your child's progress, so bring your questions to each appointment. If you ever have concerns about how your child is growing or developing, our care team is here to listen and help.
