Helping young athletes stay healthy, prevent injury, and get back in the game safely.

Staying active is one of the best things children can do for lifelong health, whether they're playing on a team, riding bikes, or just running around outside. Our sports and exercise library helps families keep young athletes healthy, prevent common injuries, and return to play safely when injuries do happen.

Drawn largely from the Care of the Young Athlete series, the collection covers readiness for sports and pre-participation physicals, concussion recognition and return-to-play guidance, and common injuries such as sprains, ACL injuries, and stress fractures. You will also find articles on strength training and core exercises, asthma and exercise, preventing heat-related illness, nutrition and supplement use for athletes, the female athlete triad, and sport-specific tips for dozens of activities.

These resources support — but don't replace — an evaluation by your child's pediatrician, especially after an injury or concussion. We're happy to complete sports and school physicals and to help your athlete get cleared and stay in the game.
